In December, the joint ship auction event organized by the Nanjing, Shanghai, Ningbo, and Wuhan Maritime Courts concluded successfully. This initiative aimed to further deepen regional maritime judicial cooperation, efficiently resolve maritime disputes, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of parties involved. Through joint announcements, coordinated promotion, and centralized display by the four courts, the event significantly enhanced market awareness and appeal for auctioned vessels, achieving a high overall transaction rate and favorable premium results. Simultaneously, the event leveraged digital tools to streamline processes such as consultation, vessel inspections, and online bidding, greatly facilitating participation for bidders and effectively reducing engagement costs. The auction attracted a total of 129,150 views and 1,641 bids, resulting in the successful sale of all 27 vessels listed, with a total transaction value of RMB 84,086,720.

The successful execution of this joint auction represents a triumphant practice in regional maritime judicial collaboration. It not only secured the enforcement rights of the petitioners but also expedited the timely settlement of other debts owed by the respondents, including seafarers wages. This accelerated the revitalization of the respondents vessel assets, thereby promoting the stability and healthy development of the shipping industry chain. Moving forward, the four maritime courts will further deepen enforcement collaboration, continuously optimize mechanisms for vessel seizure and auction, enhance the transparency and credibility of maritime justice, and provide more robust maritime judicial safeguards for advancing high-level opening-up and accelerating the development of a maritime power.
