Press Conference on “Law-Based Protection of the Marine Ecological Environment” Held
On July 10, on the eve of China Maritime Day, the Nanjing Maritime Court joined hands with the Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration, the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Jiangsu Coast Guard Bureau, as well as the People’s Procuratorates of Nanjing, Nantong, Lianyungang and Yancheng to jointly host a press conference with the theme “Law-Based Protection of the Marine Ecological Environment”.

Nanjing Maritime Court upholds HK arbitration in cross-border shipbuilding dispute
The Supreme People's Court of China released a list of exemplary maritime cases for 2025 ahead of the Day of the Seafarer on June 25, among which is a landmark ruling by the Nanjing Maritime Court in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, on a case involving a cross-border shipbuilding contract dispute between a Philippine shipping company and a shipbuilder in Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Wang Hongwei Inspects "One-Stop" Maritime Dispute Resolution Center
Following the issuance of the "Opinions of the General Office of the Supreme People's Court and the General Office of the Ministry of Transport on Advancing the Development of 'One-Stop' Maritime Dispute Resolution Center," Wang Hongwei, President of the Jiangsu High People's Court, conducted an on-site inspection of the "One-Stop" Maritime Dispute Resolution Center on January 8. The Center was jointly established by the Nanjing Maritime Court and the Nanjing Maritime Safety Administration. This inspection aims to gain an in-depth understanding of its operation model, innovative practices, and practical results.
