Nanjing Maritime Court Holds Jiangsu Maritime Enforcement Joint Meeting

On December 26, the Nanjing Maritime Court, together with the Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Department, the Jiangsu Provincial Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department, the Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration, the Jiangsu General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, and the Jiangsu Coast Guard, jointly held the Jiangsu Maritime Enforcement Joint Meeting to further deepen the effectiveness of maritime judicial and administrative law enforcement cooperation.

Wang Yun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Nanjing Maritime Court, reported on the work of the Nanjing Maritime Court in maritime enforcement and administrative law enforcement cooperation, and summarized the practical measures and experiences of jointly safeguarding high-level opening up with the rule of law, striving to create a market-oriented, law-based, internationalized business environment, and supporting the Maritime Power Strategy and development of leading maritime provinces.

During the meeting, the participating representatives exchanged views on the experience, effectiveness, and difficulties of the cooperation work, and conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as ship locating, ship control, ship supervision, handling of criminally involved ships, and substantive resolution of disputes.

Next, the Nanjing Maritime Court will continue to promote the cooperation between maritime enforcement and administrative law enforcement to a deeper and more practical level. With closer cooperation and more pragmatic measures, it will work together to safeguard the ecological security of the river and the sea and promote the high-quality development of shipping, injecting strong legal impetus into the construction of "Jiangsu Water Transport Development Strategy" and development of leading maritime provinces.
