The States Parties to this Convention， Reaffirming their belief that international trade on the basis of equality and mutual benefit is an important element in promoting friendly relations among States，

The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Some Issues about the Trial of the Cases of Ship Collision Disputes, which were adopted at the 1446th meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on April 28, 2008, are hereby promulgated and shall come into force on May 23, 2008.

The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Trial of Cases of Disputes over Compensation for Vessel-induced Oil Pollution Damage, which were adopted at the 1509th meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on January 10, 2011, are hereby promulgated, and shall come into force on July 1, 2011.

The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Trial of Cases of Disputes over Marine Freight Forwarding, as adopted at the 1538th meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on January 9, 2012, are hereby issued, and shall come into force on May 1, 2012.

The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues concerning the Application of Law during the Trial of Cases about Delivery of Goods without an Original Bill of Lading, which were adopted at the 1463rd meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on February 16, 2009, are hereby promulgated, and shall come into force on March 5, 2009.
