On July 29, Xu Heyun, Deputy Director of the institute of marine development strategy of ministry of natural resources, led a research team to Nanjing to conduct a thematic research on issues involving marine rule of law construction in Jiangsu. Li Yuming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Nanjing Maritime Court, and Li Yalin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, among others, attended the research symposium.

Safeguarding marine resources development and environmental protection through the rule of law is a crucial measure for thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and an essential requirement for serving the strategy of building a strong maritime country. This year marks the sixth year of collaborative efforts between maritime judicial and administrative organs in Jiangsu. On July 11, Nanjing Maritime Court organized a research symposium on “Safeguarding Marine Resources Development and Environmental Protection through the Rule of Law.” Attendees included principals from relevant departments of ten provincial units, including Jiangsu Provincial Natural Resources Department, Jiangsu Provincial Ecology and Environment Department, and Jiangsu Provincial Transport Department, etc. The symposium was chaired by Wang Yun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Nanjing Maritime Court.

On May 28, 2025, the Annual Conference of the Legal and Commercial Affairs Committee of China Ports & Harbors Association was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Wang Yun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Nanjing Maritime Court, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled “Maritime Justice Empowering High-Quality Development of the Ports Economy.”

On the occasion of the 115th International Women's Day and the 4th International Day of Women Judges, female judges from Nanjing Maritime Court ventured to ports, enterprises, and communities, launching a "1+4" collaborative legal outreach program. Through practical engagement, they epitomize the grace and valor of maritime women jurists in the new era.

To optimize maritime enforcement measures and better serve the national strategy for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, promote the substantive operation of the Yangtze River Delta Maritime Courts Enforcement Alliance, and strengthen cross-regional enforcement collaboration, Nanjing Maritime Court initiated an online working symposium on February 28. Jointly organized by four maritime courts—Shanghai, Wuhan, Ningbo, and Nanjing—the event was held under the theme "Action-Oriented Synergy, Collaborative Growth for Enhanced Capabilities."
